Minnesota Magicians AAA Hockey

The Minnesota Magicians and Exceed Hockey are pleased to announce the 3rd annual Warrior Cup in Minneapolis, MN!

The Warrior Cup provides a challenging and competitive environment for 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, U14, U12, and U10 birth year AAA teams.

The Warrior Cup championship venue is Dakotah Ice Arena; conveniently located next to Mystic Lake Casino Hotel.  All games will be played in the Southwest Metro area within 20 minutes of the Championship venue.

Completed in October 2008, Dakotah's brand new state-of-the-art facility is one of the finest in the Minneapolis/St Paul metro area.

• The Warrior Cup championship venue is conveniently located next to Mystic Lake Casino Hotel in Prior Lake, MN.  All tournament games played at Dakotah, Shakopee, and Victoria.
• Dakotah has two sheets of ice in a great facility including a bowling alley, arcade, full concessions, etc..
• All-Tournament player selections and awards (sponsored by Warrior Hockey).

• All games will be 15 minute stop-time periods
• Resurface after second period 1996, 1997, and 1998 age levels
• All games will be tag-up offsides
• Checking will be allowed at the 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, and 2000 levels
• Team trophies for 1st - 3rd place teams
• Certified Officials (All are high school/college certified referees)

Mystic Lake Casino Hotel is located within walking distance of Dakotah Ice Arena and 10 minutes from Shakopee Ice Arena.  Please reserve your rooms according to game locations and driving convenience.

Applications Due With Deposit

• By March 1st, 2011.  All applications must be accompanied by a non-refundable $500 deposit.

Full Entry Fee Due With Team Roster

• No later than March 15th, 2011.  Team rosters must be submitted by this date to be included in the tournament program.

Team Check-In

• Team managers/leaders are required to check-in their teams at the rink 30 minutes prior to the start of their first game.  Rosters, waivers and birth certificates must be checked prior to your team taking the ice.

Tournament Rules, Schedules, and Informational Packets

• All team managers/leaders will be supplied with a tournament packet containing rules, schedules, and any additional information at least two weeks prior to the start of the tournament.
